The perfect lawn is not complete until you have used a scarifier. They free your lawn of thatch, in other words dead grass and grass clippings. Thatch is a breeding ground for fungi and mould, it traps moisture at the surface, prevents the development of strong grass roots and promotes the growth of moss.
