FULLY AUTONOMOUS

The TANGO E5 is designed to maintain “short grass short” and operates randomly within a preset boundary wire which your local specialist dealer can install. The frequent mowing operation helps to promote a healthy looking lawn and eradicates the manual effort associated with traditional lawn maintenance as well removing the need to dispose of grass clippings. It is ideal for lawn areas of up to 1800sqm and garden obstacles, such as a flower bed, can be either accommodated by the boundary wire or avoided by the traction sensor device where the TANGO E5 will automatically back away from any obstacle it contacts.

SAFETY

The TANGO E5 boasts a number of important features to ensure safe operation. The main switch shuts down the power supply to the blade motor for safe transportation and height of cut changing. There is also a very prominent red STOP button for easy usage when an immediate end to machine operation is required. The handlebar is equipped with a sensor, which reacts directly when touched and immediately stops the blade. An in built tilt sensor automatically shuts off the machine completely when the machine is tilted more than 35% (20 degrees). Full shielding around the TANGO E5 encloses the blade.

USER INTERFACE

The TANGO E5 features a large, six line display user interface for easy visibility and intuitive operation. On the right part of the user interface are the controls for programming and navigation. On the left part of the user interface are the controls for instant features such as “Mow now” where you can request immediate operation aside from the pre-programmed schedule or “Go home” when you may want to interrupt the mowing programme to take advantage of the lawn. In addition, a very visible and easy to operate “STOP” button is available in case you need to immediately stop the TANGO E5 from operation.

POWER

To ensure consistent performance of the TANGO E5, a powerful Li-Ion battery is used. The battery has a long design life and is fully protected against the elements for use in any weather. Forget those trips out to fetch fuel for your machine ­ its no longer needed with battery power!

AUTOMATIC RECHARGE

Battery power means you no longer have the hassle of going out to get fuel and what’s more, you don’t even have to charge the battery yourself. The TANGO E5 will automatically return to its charging station when it detects that the batteries are running low and recharge itself to 100%, before continuing with its pre-programmed mowing schedule.

ROBUST CONSTRUCTION

The TANGO E5 is constructed for long life and continuous performance. Its unique double wall construction provides a number of benefits that provide a solid & stable and also provide protection from dust, dirt and water to the inner components during operation.

MOWER BLADE

The TANGO E5 mower blade provides a number of benefits to ensure a perfect cut. Constructed from high strength steel ­ the blade is incredibly robust. In addition, its star design means that only the tips of the blade cut the grass; this gives a higher quality of cut and secondly, a more optimal use of power.

HEIGHT OF CUT ADJUSTMENT

The cutting height adjustment provides a wide range of operation heights between 19 and 102mm and can be easily changed between heights. Simply turn the protection shield clockwise or anti clockwise to move the blade up and down. The blade itself is designed for maximum cutting performance with the minimum amount of power required. This is due to its star shaped design where only the tips of the blade perform the cutting. This also ensures a clean cut to promote healthy grass.
