Edge Xtra deck with mulch kit

Keep your edge on garden work - long grass doesn't stand a chance! All new John Deere ride on lawn tractors come equipped with The Edge cutting system. Deep deck design ensures outstanding grass lift for a superior, even cut. A smooth underside and slightly overlapping blades prevent grass build-up and evenly disperse the grass clippings whilst a rolled outer edge provides superior strength and protection. Shown with an optional mulching kit fitted.

Grass collection option can leave your lawn "clippings free". The cut and throw bagging system is available for 38" and 42" convertible Edge Xtra mowing decks fitted to the X300. Higher power 2 and 3 bag powerflow bagging systems are available for X320, X540 and X700 series tractors.

The new X300 model incorporates all the latest technology to ensure a comfortable, quiet and smooth ride along with a top quality mulching mower deck - the all new Edge Xtra Mulch deck - for the best mulching finish on the market. The X300 premium range of lawn tractors offers customers the highest quality of product. These versatile machines can handle a variety of tasks and incorporate a number of desirable features for comfort, convenience and performance, such as a fully adjustable open back suspension seat which allows air circulation to keep the operator cool. Also, a cup holder and tray are conveniently located on the rear fender to provide storage.

Innovative X304 four wheel steer model for ultimate maneourability. With an amazing 9 inch turning circle this model makes easy work of those awkward shaped borders and gardens with trees and shrubs in the middle of the lawn. The need for trimming with a line trimmer is kept to an absolute minimum. With a steering rear axle, the rear wheels follow the front and don't drop into the borders or clip the trees as you mow by.

New X300R fiited with the unique TurboStar fan assisted grass collection system for unprecedented vacuum grass collection. This all new system literally blows the grass clippings from the mower deck via the turbo fan straight into the large 300 litre rear mounted hopper, even long wet grass! An automatic blade shut off system cuts the drive to the blades when the hopper is completely full. This eliminates the problem of overfilling and clogging. The design of the X300R allows you to cut right up to the edge of the mower deck on both sides.

The X320 heavy duty tractor is quite amazing. Heavy duty chassis, transmisison and V-twin 22hp Kawasaki engine make mowing large areas of lawn or paddock an effortless task. Durability is exceptional and with larger wheels and tires, towing lawn care implements such as grass harrows, rollers, slitters and spikers, not to mention sprayers, trailers and leaf sweepers is childs play for the X320.

The X540 is John Deere's top of the range petrol lawn tractor. With class leading performance from a 26hp kawasaki liquid cooled engine, featuring the John Deere exclusive iTorque Power System which provides maximum output and performance. Liquid cooling provides longer engine life, quieter running and improved fuel efficiency. Power steering with five position tilt steering wheel allows the operator to select the most comfortable setting. Colour coded controls are conveniently located for simple operation and identification. These include mower engagement, hydraulic deck lift, cruise control, park brake and separate throttle & choke. And for those really arduous tasks when the going gets really tough, a foot engaged differential lock to provide extra traction and stability is exactly what's needed !

The range topping X740 and X748 garden and estate tractors are powered by 3-cylinder liquid cooled diesel engines producing 24hp and ample torque making these tractors real work horses, not just mowers! Power is efficiently transmitted to the transmission and mower decks using heavy duty drive shafts, ensuring minimum power loss and incredible levels of strength and reliability. Power steering with five position tilt steering wheel allows the operator to select the most comfortable setting. Twin double acting hydraulic services allow hydraulic deck lift and operation of the optional front end loader as well as a multitude of optional rear mounted implements, such as tipping trailers. Other rear implements such as rotovators, toppers, harrows, rollers and many grass care attachments can be towed or mounted on a category 1 three point linkage.
