The 20" Powered Scarifier is intended to remove thatch, surface detritus, and moss that has died.
The custom-designed scarifier keeps your sports surface healthy and disease-free by allowing air and water to permeate the soil's surface by removing undesirable thatch with steel blades.
Our scarifiers also promote the thickening of the tuft because they cut downwards rather than across, causing the grass to be "pruned" and producing a thicker, healthier turf for a plusher playing surface.
As the scarification procedure is quite severe on the grass, it is important to note that the lawn may initially appear damaged and unsightly; however, it will do your lawn a world of good in the long run, resulting in a lush, healthy growth of grass within a month.
Scarification yields the greatest results when the lawn is also aerated to improve nutrient, air, and water absorption.
