Allett pedestrian mowers have been setting high standards since the mid 1960s when Reg Allett developed and manufactured his first cylinder mower. Today, as part of the Turfmech group, Allett and Turfmech continue in their pursuit of excellance from initial design and testing through to finished product and end user support.

The Allett Buffalo is an extremely rugged mower with a large diameter cutting cylinder giving it the ability to cut long grass even in wet conditions that leave other cylinder mowers in the shed! Designed to operate on low engine revs. This is to reduce fuel consumption, noise and vibration levels and wear and tear on the mower, the operator and the environment.

The Allett Buffalo is available in two very different specifications. Firstly as a conventional cylinder mower, with a full width front roller, rubber covered rear roller and a grassbox. In this specification it produces an excellent striped finish for lawns, golf tees etc. Secondly as a wheeled machine. Short stub rollers at the front allow longer grass to pass through the cutters and out the back between the rear wheels. In this specification grass up to 200mm (8") in height can be cut.
