Toro 21772 21.5" Mower Description
With the wide 55 cm cutting width and the powerful Briggs & Stratton® 163cc engine of this petrol-powered Automatic Drive Toro Recycler you can make quick work of large lawns up to 1,000m2. The Automatic Drive System smoothly adjusts to your preferred walking pace, and the handlebar is adjustable for added comfort.
The Blade Brake Clutch (BBC) allows you to keep the engine running while stopping the blade from spinning, meaning when stopping to empty the grass bag, cross a path or remove something from infront of you, there is no need to restart the engine, just re-engage the blades.
You can change between recycling, bagging or side discharge, and Recycle on Demand lets you change from collecting to mulching in seconds with a flip of the quick-change lever – the bag can stay on the machine in either mode. The grass bag’s capacity of 74L lets you spend more time mowing instead of emptying. Adding still more convenience is a washout port for fast deck cleanup.

Patented Toro® Recycler® Cutting System - Recycling – Good for your Lawn, Good for the Environment The patented design of the cutting chamber and blade repeatedly chops the grass cuttings into tiny pieces and forces them back into the turf where they decompose quickly and provide nutrients and moisture to the soil. Recycling grass clippings or mulching as it’s also known instead of collecting them saves you time, money and effort and is healthier for the planet.
Bag on Demand - With our innovative Bag-On-Demand feature, you can switch from mulching to bagging in seconds with a flip of the quick-change lever – and the bag can stay mounted in either mode. Thanks to an open single-piece handle design, you can quickly and easily remove and reinstall the bag.
Washout Port - The deck washout port is a convenient way to clean the bottom of the deck – maintaining optimum airflow for high performance.
