EGO PHA7404E Auger Power Head Kit Description
Built for demanding outdoor work, the EGO PHA7404E Auger Power Head Kit gives professional landscapers, tree surgeons and serious home gardeners a clean, powerful way to drill holes in soil. With up to 74Nm of torque, it is particularly well suited to jobs such as planting trees and shrubs, installing fence posts, landscaping projects and ground preparation.
Powered by EGOs 56V ARC Lithium™ battery system, this cordless auger provides dependable performance without petrol fumes, pull-starting or the routine maintenance associated with petrol-powered equipment. It is an excellent choice for contractors working around customers properties, as well as homeowners who want capable equipment that is straightforward to operate.
The robust seamless steel tube provides the strength, balance and reliability needed for regular ground-drilling work. Two forward speeds, one reverse speed and variable-speed control allow the operator to match the drilling speed to the ground conditions and task. Reverse operation is especially useful when releasing the bit from compacted soil.
Ergonomically designed handles support comfortable, secure operation and help you maintain control when drilling. Combined with the appropriate EGO auger bit, available separately, the PHA7404E makes efficient work of creating consistent holes for planting, posts and other outdoor projects.
The kit includes a 5Ah EGO ARC Lithium™ battery, capable of boring up to 30 holes on a single charge. EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries are interchangeable across the EGO cordless range, making this a practical addition for existing EGO users and a strong starting point for building a versatile battery-powered tool collection.
For deeper holes, pair the power head with the EGO ABE2000 50cm auger bit extension. Compatible earth and ice auger bits are available separately, allowing the machine to be configured for the work at hand.
