Allett 20" C Range Verticutter Cartridge Description
The 20" Powered VertiCutter is outfitted with backward-inclined blades that are specifically designed to prune the grass in order to promote tillering and stolon formation. This is essential for those who desire to cultivate fine turfs, such as those who maintain bowling and golf greens. The blades are separated by 35mm and penetrate the soil to a depth of 0mm.
Uses recommended:
– To control thatch by removing dead and dying grass plants that would otherwise contribute to the thatch layer. – To produce an upright grass that will be easier and cleaner to cut with a 6 or 10 blade cartridge in the future. – To control weeds and coarse weed grasses that lie flat in the sward, such as Yorkshire fog and Meadow grasses.
NOTE: DO NOT allow the blades of the Powered VertiCutter to come in contact with the earth, as this will damage the lawn.
If your lawn is undulating, it is recommended that you smooth it out prior to using this cartridge to prevent damage.
