Allett 27" C-Range Scarifer Cartridge Description

The 27" Powered Scarifier is designed to remove decaying moss, thatch, and other debris from the surface. The blades in this cartridge feature tungsten ends to increase their durability.

By allowing air and water to penetrate the soil surface and employing steel blades to remove unwanted thatch, the specially designed scarifier aids in maintaining a healthy and disease-free sports surface.

Our scarifiers also promote tuft thickening because they cut downward rather than across, 'pruning' the grass and encouraging the development of additional shoots, resulting in a thicker, healthier turf and a more luxurious playing surface.

Due to the harsh nature of the scarification process on the grass, it is imperative to remember that your lawn may initially appear wounded and unsightly. However, in the long run, scarification will do wonders for your lawn, producing a dense, lush, and healthy grass growth in only a few weeks.

If the lawn is also aerated to enhance absorption of nutrients, air, and water, scarification produces the greatest results.
