Quality and durability are inseparable in the Eliet mindset, The steel frame, the special housing of the bearings, the hexagon steel shaft and the vertical belt tension all contribute to this goal.  Effective combing out of moss, flat-growing weeds or dead grass cuttings requires pointed blades. With the Eliet scarifyer you can keep going until the knives are completely worn down. One set of knives easily lasts 100 hours. Their precision engineered shape and unique treatment ensures that their sharp edges never blunt. Furthermore, the height adjustment is balanced perfectly.

The perfect lawn is not complete until you have used a scarifier. They free your lawn of thatch, in other words dead grass and grass clippings. Thatch is a breeding ground for fungi and mould, it traps moisture at the surface, prevents the development of strong grass roots and promotes the growth of moss. You should therefore scarify your lawn at least twice a year - preferably on a dry day in spring and in autum, before and after the main period of growth.  A scarifier is subject to high wear and tear and all our tools are therefore made to be particularly robust.

Breaking up thatch doesn't mean you have to brake out in a sweat. All models are designed for ease of operation and feature several individual cutting blades to ensure that no thatch is left untouched.  Make sure the grass is greener on your side of the fence, with a John Deere Scarifier.
