How Much Does Delivery Cost?

The delivery charge will be calculated in your basket based on your delivery postcode.

Small Items & Accessories

Smaller items (e.g. hand tolols such as spades and secateurs) and accessories ordered on their own (e.g. spare blades, extra engine oil) will be subject to a carriage charge.  Most of the UK mainland is chargeable at £10.00 inc VAT. The Isle of Wight, the Highlands and Northern Ireland are extra. Please enter your address and check your shopping basket for details. These items will normally be dispatched within 3 working days. We will let you know if this is to be significantly different. Once dispatched this service is usually next day although this is not guaranteed for residential deliveries.

Boxed Goods

Boxed goods such as lawnmowers, hedgecutters, brushcutters etc are delivered to most of the UK mainland FREE of charge.  The Isle of Wight, the Highlands and Northern Ireland are extra. Please enter your address and check your shopping basket for details. These items will normally be dispatched within 3 working days. We will let you know if this is to be significantly different. Once dispatched this service is usually next day although this is not guaranteed for residential deliveries or addresses in Scotland.

Large Items

Larger items, mainly tractors and some of their accessories, need to be shipped on a pallet.  Prices start at £75.00 inc VAT. Please enter your address and check your shopping basket for details. Goods sent on pallets will normally be dispatched within 5 working days on a 2-3 day service. We will let you know if this is to be significantly different.

These products are only available for local delivery as a personal handover by one of our fully trained sales staff is required. We will usually be able to deliver to the following postcode zones: SO;BH;SP;SN;RG;GU;PO (including the Isle of Wight by special arrangement, carriage charge by quotation) but may be able to travel further in some situations. Please call us to discuss your requirements.

Bulk orders

Please call us to discuss delivery charges for bulk orders. We may be able to offer a discount.

Extended delivery times

We will let you know if delivery is expected to take any longer than suggested above.

Delivery to off-shore locations

For a quote for delivery to off-shore locations including The Channel Islands, the Scottish Islands (including Isle of Skye) and other areas of Ireland, please contact us.

Important notice regarding access for deliveries

It is your responsibility to let us know if there might be any access problems for vehicles delivering the products that you have ordered.  Particularly when lawn and garden tractors are ordered, lorries fitted with tail lifts will be used.  Narrow lanes, low or overhanging trees, narrow entrances or the lack of a turning area are all examples of possible access problems.  Any alternative or extra delivery arrangements that might need to be made will be at your cost.

Delivery times

Deliveries are usually made on working days only unless by prior arrangement. Please call us for more information and pricing regarding Saturday or timed deliveries.

Signing for deliveries

It is strongly recommended that all packages are inspected in front of the delivery driver prior to signing for them "in good condition". Where this is not possible, it is suggested that goods are signed for as "unchecked" or "damaged" otherwise claims against our carriers for goods damaged in transit are unlikely to be successful.
